Valhalla 1981 tells the story of two souls that were tragically ripped apart. Using almost exclusively imagery and copy from a found 1981 edition of the Valhalla, a yearbook from Grosse Pointe North High School.

The story told may be fictional for those depicted in these photos, but the story rings true for the thousands of gay individuals during the AIDS crisis of the 1980s.
